Stahlwille’s Torsiotronic wins the Red Dot Design Award 2018

The Torsiotronic created the right waves in the market as the first electromechanical torque screwdriver in the world. The jury for the prestigious Red Dot Design contest has recognised the Torsiotronic electromechanical torque screwdriver with the Design Award in the product design category. In so doing, the jury honoured, in particular, its functionality, ergonomic design and the underlying innovative concept.

The patented trigger system on this unique torque screwdriver is based on a ball mechanism, and trips with audible and tactile signals when the target torque is reached. The tool measures as accurately as only an electronic torque tool can. The fine-tooth ratchet, a wide range of programming options and a micro-USB interface make the Torsiotronic the ideal tool when it comes to logging work steps, applying very small torques or following complex tightening sequences.
