Retail Week has reported that Kingfisher is considering the former CEO of Direct Line as a replacement for outgoing CEO, Véronique Laury.
Paul Geddes recently left Direct Line after ten years in the role, having led the insurance company through a split from Royal Bank of Scotland and its 2012 stock market floatation. He was also understood to have been one of the candidates for the role of John Lewis Partnership chairman.
According to the Retail Week report, only a few individuals are left in the running for CEO, including Geddes and an unnamed French candidate .
